Jim Burke has over 25 years varied experience in the financial markets working for positive solutions for both individuals and for public companies. He has an MBA from Oregon State University and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Oregon.

After receiving his MBA, Jim began his career in the consulting department of Moss Adams, CPAs, one of the twelve largest CPA firms in the United States. His specialty was financial modeling for medium size companies. Later, he became a successful stockbroker with Merrill Lynch, where he worked with wealthy individual and corporations. While at Merrill Lynch, Jim was a member of the prestigious President's Club.

After a career at Merrill Lynch, Jim started a more entrepreneurial career. He has formed and owned several successful businesses usually involving his financial expertise. Among these are a commodity pool, an investor relations firm and brokering financial transaction for individuals and public companies. At present Jim is managing director of the Scottsdale Group with a emphasis on placing stock loans on individuals and corporations.
